Q: Will I need acupuncture, chiropractic, or massage?

A: Often times when you present make your appointment you've already got some sort of treatment in mind. Whichever you've scheduled for you can rest assured that our practitioners work together to get you back to top condition.

You may show up for chiropractic, but end up getting acupuncture. After your massage you just might end up seeing the chiropractor. Whatever you need, we will help tailor your treatments to get you to the practitioner and service you need.

Q: What if I can't leave work but need treatment?
A: Many employers will work with you in trying to accommodate treatment time during the day. If, however, you are in a position where leaving work is not an option, we offer limited late evening, early morning and occasional weekend treatment times. Make sure and check with the receptionist when making your appointment.

Q: I'm going to be late, what should I do?
A: We understand sometimes traffic, work and life can get in the way of arriving to your appointment on time. Occasionally we can work with someone who is just a little behind.

If for some reason you are going to be more than five minutes late we recommend you reschedule your appointment for another day in the week. Our appointments start every twenty minutes; being more than five minutes late not only shortens your treatment time, but it can impact the person scheduled after you.

We pride ourselves on being on time if not early. Please note that last minute cancellations may also incur a $25 fee.

Q: How long will my appointment last?
A: Depending on the practitioner you are seeing this will vary slightly. Chiropractic appointments are usually 10 to 15 minutes except for new patient exams. Acupuncture appointments can range from 40 minutes to an hour. Massage appointments vary based on your request and are performed in 30, 60 and 90 minute sessions.

When should you come in?

Often times people are unsure of when to call for help. Usually the timing of your treatment depends on the nature of your condition. If you are suffering an acute, or recent injury it is recommended to call as soon as you can. For more chronic or long-term problems you can typically wait, depending on the nature of your illness.

What about my prescription?

Continue to take any and all medication you have been prescribed throughout the course of your treatments. While you may be feeling great, some medications require a period of weaning that your primary care physician will need to supervise.

Can I bring my children?

We love kids! But, unless we are treating your loved ones, please make every effort to leave them with a friend or family member during your treatment. If you have no other option, then please keep in mind that this is a medical facility where everyone deserves a quiet, peaceful treatment.

Is it okay to take pain medication before my treatment?

Absolutely. While we prefer to have an unaltered view of what is going on with your body, sometimes taking the edge off of your symptoms before you come in will allow us to more effectively treat you.
