Insurance Coverage

Group Health Insurance

Many insurance companies do cover acupuncture, chiropractic and massage. Our clinic is on many insurance panels in Oregon, and Christine works successfully with Personal Injury Protection for acupuncture benefits. Go to your insurance company web site or call the number listed on your card for further information. You will want to get specific answers to the following questions:

Is acupuncture, chiropractic or massage a covered benefit on my current insurance plan?

What is my total benefit (i.e. how many treatments per year, or dollar amount)?

What is my deductible?

Have I met any of that deductible this year?

Another option is to simply bring in your insurance card to your first visit. With the information on your card and your birth date we can call the insurance company and get that information for you.

Whether covered or not, sometimes it's best not to wait. The longer your symptoms are present the more difficult it can be to resolve them. When it comes to your health, you can't be too careful.

Motor Vehicle Accident?

Please note: if you have been in an automobile accident within the last 12 months and are currently undergoing physical therapy or other medical care for injuries sustained in the accident - you can use your PIP benefits for acupuncture and chiropractic. What's more, you do not need a referral to do so.

Work Related Injury?

If you have a new work injury and have not seen another medical provider, our office can see you without a referral. However, if you are under the care of another physician, we would need a referral from their office to see you.

Referrals

Give referrals to friends or get one from your physician. Whichever you're looking for, we've got the tools you need to make something happen.
