I have had had 4 surgeries since 2000, all on my hip, until in 2005 they had to
literally take out my hip socket and an old hip prosthetic which left me without
a hip and upper leg bone until 12-2008, when I received a new hip and cadaver
bone in my thigh. I was recovering in a lot of pain and then was rear ended in
my vehicle and injured by shoulder, neck and ribs. I was tired of taking a pill
for this and a pill for that and asked around for some alternative health care
when I was referred to Balance Health and Injury Clinic. I have been going since
February 2008, and in that short amount of time I have never felt better in my
life. The combination of acupuncture, chiropractic, and massage have eased my
pain to the point of finally getting off large doses of morphine. I've lost
weight, my skin is glowing and I feel a zest for life I forgot I had. People who
haven't seen me in awhile constantly ask me what I'm doing because I don't look
like I'm in pain anymore and I just have a glow about me. I am grateful for my
accident because it brought me to a place where skilled professionals like Eric
Strand, Daniel DesJardins, and Amber Buxton listened to my problems, came up
with a treatment plan and have changed my life. I really mean this and I will
continue my care and come to the clinic before I go to hospital doctors who will
scribble out a prescription and send me on my way instead of listening to me and
helping my body heal itself like all of you at Balance. My body, mind and spirit
are grateful for the care and healing I have received. You are all awesome, fun,
and talented at your gifted positions. I will tell everyone I know about your

After years of unsuccessful visits with dermatologists, allergy specialists and
naturopaths, which included innumerable and futile tests, ointments, lotions,
soaps, oils, and dangerous topical medicinal creams, my husband and I brought
our eczema ridden son to Eric. As you can imagine we were skeptical when Eric
said a once a week session and an herbal prescription would accomplish what
dozens of other doctors had failed to do, help our son. However, within 3 months
