He’s back!

Making the decision to share my clinic and my lifetime’s work of building trust with patients was difficutl, at best. I met Daniel late in 2011 and found him to be very compassionate. He cared deeply for his patients, and represented our medicine in a professional and caring manner. It wasn’t long after that Daniel became my first associate.

His early days with us were over in the “bunker,” our aptly named old building across from LA Fitness. While the old place had its charm and memories, we needed a new, slightly bigger place with opportunity for growth. So, we loaded up the truck, and we moved to our current location just a mile east!

We enjoyed the time working together, but Daniel struggled between working with Balance and the family here, and his own family of patients in downtown Portland. Spread too thin, we amicably parted ways. Balance has gone through a number of changes since then, and it looks like the stars have aligned to push us together again.

So here we are, ten years later. Daniel, who likes to be called “Espiritu”, will be flying solo at first, controlling every aspect of the clinic on Fridays and Saturdays starting in January 2023: taking patients from 9am until 12:30, and 1:30 to 5pm both days. Daniel is on most insurance panels offered in Oregon, as well as highly skilled at treating MVC and work related injuries.

Stop in on Saturday to say hi, and maybe enjoy a cup of tea in the lobby.

However you definte it, fate, luck, or history repeating itself, Espiritu rejoins the Balance team, and we couldn’t be happer.
